We were contracted to work alongside award winning Marlborough Brickwork and ‘Dig Hungate’, the single biggest archaeological excavation in York in the last 25 years on the four hectare Hungate development within York’s city walls.
The new city quarter compromises of 129 eco-friendly apartments each up to six storeys alongside 33 townhouses.
Our own specific brief was a 2,500m2 render project with a primo colour – a German scratch render in white and grey.
Over the course of the project which took four months, we had 2-3 teams using PFT G4 render pumps.
The render facade was used to interpret York city living for the 21st century.
